If for some reason you were unable to catch all of the action of the Vice Presidential Debate Live you can catch the videos of the Vice Presidential Debate here

For those of you who were able to watch the fight for second in command of the greatest office in the land, I am interested in hearing your take on it. Please feel free to comment on Who won the Vice Presidential Debate.

I watched the Vice Presidential Debate and saw that Palin looked folksy yet rehearsed and Biden looked experienced yet political. Palin had taken the route of attacking the Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee by attacking their policies. Biden took the “higher ground” by not directly going after Palin in a probable effort not to seem like he was a bully trying to take advantage of a woman. I don’t think that it could have gone down better for him had he attempted to attack Palin in one bit.

I believe Biden handled himself as a seasoned political speaker knowing when to utter the same political rhetoric and when to throw in some of his own personality. Palin on the other hand seemed as though she was reading from cue-cards. It wasn’t very often when she answered a question that was asked of her directly and she skirted around many issues. It was very obvious that she was coached into muttering the same buzz word of Maverick whenever possible.

Everyone has different opinions on how they like their politics and how they like their candidates. Instead of letting me tell you who won the vice presidential debate, why not form your own opinion and let me know who you think won!

Palin thinks that she lost the VP debate.

I think that Sarah Palin won the debate. Biden just showed us that he is politics as usual. He is old school politics. Sarah is one of us, she understands us. She is a breath of fresh air. We need to get all of the “old politicals” out and put real people in office. Across the board. The democrats have put our economy in peril with the mortgage issues. They started it and now they are trying to shove it under the rug and blame someone else. It makes me sick. If Palin was running for President I would vote for her.

One has to know the real issues AND how to address those issues to before one can lead. Yes, I want change, but change for the better, not just any kind of change. Senator Biden won this vice presidential debate.

    Biden was hands-down the winner!
Since when is “folksy” a trait that we want in the White House? Isn’t that we have already? Bush appealed to red necks and white trash, too. How well did that work out for America? What is wrong with being articulate, and intelligent?
Why is it that all she had to do is use words like, “you betcha, darn it, Joe six pack” and she has uneducated America by the leash?
Don’t think it wasn’t a tactic, because it was. It worked for George and it is working for her. When will this country learn?

  • Seth says:

Hey, Amy, guess what – people in Alaska actually talk like that! I know it’s hard to believe, since I’m sure you live just off Rodeo Drive, but she went far in Alaska because she is genuine and I think not talking like another stuffed shirt is refreshing – not because its different, but because its honest. Oh and speaking of honesty, Mary, check your facts before you declare Biden’s statements properly addressed. He told flat out lies MULTIPLE times and let’s not forget he’s running with a candidate that he doesn’t think is suited to be President. Knowledge is a handy tool, both of you should turn off the MSNBC and get some.

  • Diane says:

I like how you think Seth. Palin was forthright, articulate and approachable!!! She wins hands down.

  • !PROUD Obama supporter! says:

I am appalled that there are actually people that would vote for the biggest VP candidate BSer that I’ve ever heard. Anyone with common sense and understanding about our country and what these two candidates stand for can’t help but admit that Sarah looked like and sounded like an idiot (and has looked and sounded like one since the day she was named GOP VP candidate). yeah she won if the two were being judged on who knew absolutely nothing about what was being discussed, or who repeats the same coached answer for merely every question proposed, or who (in order to TRY to take the attention off the fact that she’s rambling yet fails) spends all of her speaking time putting her opponent down instead of using her time to lay out what she and McCain stand for. BUT since that’s not what debate and the election is all about, then Biden obviously claimed victory. No one can deny the intelligence of Obama…give it up and quit making excuses and vote for him already! So with that being said, all you McCain-Palin supporters, since they can’t seem to spell it out in the debates (or anywhere else for that matter) tell me, exactly WHAT is McCain’s plan for education? what’s his plan on social sercurity?
