HR1424 – House Passes Bailout Bill

It has just come to our attention that the House of Representatives has passed the HR 1424. With a 263 vote in favor of the bill it was finally passed in the house of representatives after being laden with other measures that the House really wanted to pass.

The plan was initially shot down in the house of representatives by a slim margin. The senate than took another look and added it to the with some enticing bills. They then sent it back to the house to vote on today.

House to Vote on Bailout HR1424 Today

The future of the now rests firmly in the hands of the House of Representatives. They were swift to vote against the measure on Monday. The new Measure is now loaded with additional pork that should sway the house to act in favor of the bill.

There are many mixed opinions about this bailout bill from all over the country. Major analysts are worried about the long term effects that this measure will have and if the oversight committees will actually follow through on this one. The bill could assist the economy in the short term but unless it is handled correctly it will probably not be good for the long term. There are many potential issues that I can foresee being a problem.
