Recently the Obama camp has created a calculator that can help assess the amount of taxes that would be paid under the economic tax policies that would be enforced by both Sen. Obama and Sen McCain if they were to be elected. It is a pretty interesting little tool that can help find out the amount of tax savings or additional fines you would have if either Sen. McCain or Sen. Obama’s economic policies are enacted.

I thought it held enough value if the calculator is in fact valid.

I know most of us are not even thinking of christmas yet, being that it is a whole 2 months away? What.. Only 2 months away? What happened to this year? Boy it went by fast.

So christmas is around the corner and in my effort to gear up for it I was stumbling around the internet looking for some interesting sites. In my ventures I stumbled across a pretty interesting program. It was a christmas lights recycling program. Now I thought I had heard of almost all the different types of Recycling Programs that there are out there, but I had never heard of a christmas lights recycling program. So I thought that this would be a very beneficial post for my members.

Congress is mulling over the possibility of another stimulus package for the cash strapped US Economy. The Federal Reserve Chairman has recently endorsed this possibility as something that would immediately influx some much needed cash into the economy.

The reported Second round of stimulus payments is supposed to be around the area of 300 billion dollars. They are also looking at putting into play some road projects that had been sidelined. Such spending would end up injecting some immediate job opportunities to the economy.

Last night at the Alfred E. Smith Charity Dinner Sen Obama and Sen McCain put down their gloves and decided to take shots at each other in a different manner. The Obama McCain Roast was pretty funny considering the comics.

The last presidential debate was held last night between Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain. There have been many who have said that the presidential debate last night was less of a debate and more of a storyline. The reason behind this is that the topic that was mentioned most was the story of Joe the plumber.

Remember those trips to Disneyland? Remember riding on the futuristic Monorail? It might be possible that the Monorail themed future was not that far off in terms of transportation. Ithaca, Santa Cruz and Sweden are considering using pod cars as opposed to the normal light rail system. These pod cars would be similar to the monorail style cars yet they would be of a more personal in nature. Allowing for those who would like to be alone to have that alone time.

Over the weekend a plumber who states he already has too many tax burdens quizzed Barrack Obama on his economic policies on how he would help get the economy back into shape. The plumber who already complained that he doesn’t think it is fair to be taxed for chasing the American dream.

Obama responded with his views on how he doesn’t want to tax anybody who doesn’t make more than 250k per year, and assist those who don’t. He said that he would like to “Spread the Wealth Around”. His responses were captured on video and the McCain camp who has already been claiming that Obama’s views have been socialist in nature jumped at the opportunity to rebuke this method.

We all have our party affiliations, we all have our desires for who we would like to see in the office. We have our opinions about who won the presidential debates and who won the vice presidential debates. We can speculate all we want but until the fateful election day it will be just that, speculation.
